What do Robert Bixby, Stuart Butler, Douglas Elmendorf, and David Walker have in common other than the commonality of sharing no specific political leaning?
Well, they are all experts in their fields and vastly concerned with the direction the US Economy is taking. They joined together nearly two years ago to start spreading the message that if the course does not change big problems lay ahead for the US Economy. With a federal deficit over 8 trillion dollars, the Senates approval in 06 to raise the Federal Debt Limit to 9 Trillion dollars and nothing that could be considered a "decrease" of spending since then, its clear America has some big issues on its plate.
This "Fiscal Wake-Up Tour" as these men have dubbed their very serious lecture tour, has plans to ratchet up their efforts in the coming months. Their hope is that they will be able to help wedge in more economic and fiscal policy concerns into the general publics conscience as well as the upcoming election season.
We all know this guy is listenging, but is anyone else?

Ron Paul has created an amazing buzz in the political realm with his astonishing 4.2 million dollars raised on Nov. 5th.
The Media is no longer able to ignore Dr. Ron Paul or label him a fringe candidate. People are hearing his message and many are agreeing with his stances.
America is over stretched, over taxed and not safe. Dr. Paul can fix these issues and correct the path of our Country. He can do this by getting our congress and our mission back in touch with our constitution and back in touch with the principles that made our country so great to begin with.
Ron Paul is my candidate for the Republican nomination and for president in 2008. Here are a few links that have popped up since His massive fundraising efforts yesterday. Some of them are neutral, some are positive and some continue to show BIG MEDIAS biased and unprofessional reporting. Read them and decide for yourself. Is the media really providing you with the correct information and are they doing it objectively?

I have already donated to Rob Pauls campaign but I wanted to get the word out about this event that is being organized. While they may not raise a full 10 million dollars I have no doubt that it could be an excellent boost to Dr. Pauls campaign and to the ideals of the constitution…..
Please join us this November 5th for the largest one-day political donation event in history. Our goal is to bring together 100,000 Ron Paul supporters to donate $100 each, creating a one day donation total of $10,000,000!
www.thisnovember5th.com
There are currently 18,000 people signed up to thisnovember5th, and will likely be 20,000 by November 5th.
Add that to the 76,000 plus Ron Paul friends on Myspace and we have nearly 100,000 people pledging to donate $100, totaling $10,000,000 in one day. The largest one-day fundraising of any presidential candidate in history!
Do you realize the POWER and SIGNIFICANCE of this?
We’ll raise $10,000,000 but the publicity will be worth TEN TIMES that!
Friends, I can assure you that if we pull this off, if we raise ten million dollars in one day, it will blow the lid off. Godzilla henceforth would be in the debates. Do you think that’s worth a hundred bucks?
Donations are to be made
ONLY at the Official Ron Paul website
at www.RonPaul2008.com.
Sincerely,
Fellow Ron Paul Supporter

Congressman Ron Pauls support has vastly grown in the last 3-6 months and I believe it will continue. He is ranked 4th in New Hampshire in the lastest Poll of nearly 1300 likely voters.
Read his material, decide to support a man with the right views, not someone who the media tells you has a good shot at winning, and we can change the world.
VOTE RON PAUL!

Hot & Cold In Singapore
This video is an excellent example of Innovative thinking. A Singapore inventor has created a machine that harnesses the excess heat created from AC systems to help heat water. This type of forward thinking is whats needed on a massive scale if the world and America has any real hope of over coming our massive energy consumption trends.
Some may say… what is this little machine really going to impact. I would respond, by itself? Probably not much, but when you add up a million small numbers you start to form a larger one, one that can make a significant impact. In the beginning there was just one model T… what impact on the enviroment did it have? Alone…. probably not much, but look at the situation now.

DC Slams the door on Zones.
Its about time DC retired this misguided and flawed system. Its surprising its lasted as long as it has. It just goes to show you though, that change, even for the better is not welcomed with open arms, especially by those who fail to benefit from the new way of doing things… (IE. Cab Drivers)

Wow, two COLONELS (thats the six steps up the rank ladder) tried to fool a DNA office to escape paying child support.
Colonels are pretty high ranking… they are just one step away from becoming a one start general so to have these two men pull something so crazy so far along in their careers is astounding. They get paid pretty well too. It seems that the officer with the child support payments was trying to hide the situation from his family in Pennsylvania.
What a hoot.

Bush has veto’d two bills in his 6 years in office. Thats 10 less than the average president (most veto around two per year, some more, some less).
His two choices for Vetos
Stem Cell Research
Children health Care.
There may very well have been issues with these bills but are you telling me that he could not find fualt in ANY OTHER of the vast bills that included Ear Marks, Pork Barrel Projects and blatant over spending? None of the other bills to pass his desk deserved a Veto? Give me a BREAK!
Bush Vetos Bill that included 35 Billion over 5 years for Childrens Healthcare. If there is one area I can see an increase in gov. it is when it is focused on helping those too young to help themselves. Bush can spend 190 Billion A YEAR on the Iraq war, but he wont spend 35 Billion over 5 for the health of our young ones… so so sad.

Situation: I’m moving
Issue: I need furniture
Problem: I am Cash poor (paid almost 2000 just to move in!)
Solution: Craigslist!
I found these two end tables on craigslist for $10 bucks (pretty good deal, solid wood, sturdy). How they looked than was not really my cup o tea… not really into the gold trim or the mirror inlay but when I saw the ad online the left side (thats the creative part) of my brain kicked in…
After a short trip to Home Depot and about 2 hours of labor (spread over a couple days) this is the out come. Two asain modern black zen end tables for use as night stands of in the living room.. or one in both.
Cost
Tables: $10
Paint: $7
Sandblock: $3
Velco: $5
Red Fabric $4
Total cost for 2 cool end tables I can say are one of a kind PRICELESS, HA! Actually the total was $29. Not bad…. Not bad…
