The American Dream

So I was talking to a friend online this evening and I mentioned that I was stoked about finding a long lost blog of this creative attractive girl living up in new york city that I had lost track of awhile back. When I mentioned this he responded with “is that all you think about anymore? being in a realtionship?” I quickly responded with a No, I think about corn dogs and politics too before the following thoughts where exchanged.

++aetox (1:07:29 AM): is that all you think about anymore? being in a relationship?
crewshell (1:08:24 AM): no
crewshell (1:08:29 AM): i wanted to check out her blog agian
crewshell (1:08:30 AM): shes funny
crewshell (1:08:33 AM): she lives in new york
crewshell (1:08:36 AM): how would that work out anyway
crewshell (1:08:44 AM): though being in a relationship would be nice…
++aetox (1:10:07 AM): how would that work? you would move to nyc on a whim
crewshell (1:11:14 AM): haha
crewshell (1:11:16 AM): no i wouldnt
crewshell (1:11:17 AM): i need my job
crewshell (1:11:19 AM): i have debt
crewshell (1:11:24 AM): and my job gives me money to pay it
crewshell (1:11:29 AM): i’m living the american dream
++aetox (1:11:52 AM): boo on the american dream
++aetox (1:12:00 AM): i wanna move to iceland

And that my friend is the point of this post. I’ve lost my freedom. I lost my ability to pick up and do whatever I wanted and go where ever I wanted. To be honest I guess I never REALLY had that ability… you know, the pesky problem of paying for a plane or bus ticket or having a place to stay when I got someplace. But now, for the most part… I am much more tied down then I ever have been. And you know what.

I don’t like it.

I’m going to change it.

935 “false statements” = 3,900+ American deaths

935 Fals Statements

While I believe the vast American public already knew they had been misled by this Bush administration I don’t know if we truly had an idea of how large a spectacle Bush and his yes men really put on.
In addition to being misled by the administration lets not forget to place some of the blame on the press; who sat by and reported their lies with little to no fact checking and almost no critical analyst.

Way to go Bush, way to go Mass Media.

P.S Oh, and yea that same media is informing you currently about the presidential election. I’m sure their being completely unbiased in their coverage, now.

New Hampshire GOP Pulls support for Censored Fox Forum

Its great to see the NH GOP live up to true American Values. This shows real integrity on their part.

““““““““““““““““““`
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
January 5, 2008
Fergus Cullen, Chairman, New Hampshire Republican Party

NH REPUBLICAN PARTY WITHDRAWS AS FOX FORUM PARTNER

CONCORD ? New Hampshire Republican Party Chairman Fergus Cullen releases the following statement regarding Sunday?s Republican forum on FOX:

The first-in-the-nation New Hampshire primary serves a national purpose by giving all candidates an equal opportunity on a level playing field. Only in New Hampshire do lesser known, lesser funded underdogs have a fighting chance to establish themselves as national figures. Consistent with that tradition, we believe all recognized major candidates should have an equal opportunity to participate in pre-primary debates and forums.

This principle applies to tonight?s debates on ABC as well as Sunday?s planned forum on FOX. The New Hampshire Republican Party believes Congressmen Ron Paul and Duncan Hunter should be included in the FOX forum on Sunday evening. Our mutual efforts to resolve this difference have failed.

While we understand that FOX News continues to move forward it is with regret, the New Hampshire Republican Party hereby withdraws as a partner in this forum.

Huckabee and Science?

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2007/12/09/huckabee-once-advocated-isolation-of-aids-patients/

This is really sickening. Especially from someone who wants to lead this country.

It was well known in 91 that you can not spread aids from casual contact. His advocacy for isolating these people infected with this virus saddly stems from his biased views on sexuality.

Major Fiscal issues face America and threaten our Freedom

What do Robert Bixby, Stuart Butler, Douglas Elmendorf, and David Walker have in common other than the commonality of sharing no specific political leaning?

Well, they are all experts in their fields and vastly concerned with the direction the US Economy is taking. They joined together nearly two years ago to start spreading the message that if the course does not change big problems lay ahead for the US Economy. With a federal deficit over 8 trillion dollars, the Senates approval in 06 to raise the Federal Debt Limit to 9 Trillion dollars and nothing that could be considered a "decrease" of spending since then, its clear America has some big issues on its plate.

This "Fiscal Wake-Up Tour" as these men have dubbed their very serious lecture tour, has plans to ratchet up their efforts in the coming months. Their hope is that they will be able to help wedge in more economic and fiscal policy concerns into the general publics conscience as well as the upcoming election season.

We all know this guy is listenging, but is anyone else?

Its like going to the batting cage with the machine set perfectly down your hit path…

You wouldn’t get this type of crap from the Ron Paul campaign. Hes probably the most honest Congress member currently serving.

Ron Paul sends shockwaves across the political landscape

Ron Paul has created an amazing buzz in the political realm with his astonishing 4.2 million dollars raised on Nov. 5th.

The Media is no longer able to ignore Dr. Ron Paul or label him a fringe candidate. People are hearing his message and many are agreeing with his stances.

America is over stretched, over taxed and not safe. Dr. Paul can fix these issues and correct the path of our Country. He can do this by getting our congress and our mission back in touch with our constitution and back in touch with the principles that made our country so great to begin with.

Ron Paul is my candidate for the Republican nomination and for president in 2008. Here are a few links that have popped up since His massive fundraising efforts yesterday. Some of them are neutral, some are positive and some continue to show BIG MEDIAS biased and unprofessional reporting. Read them and decide for yourself. Is the media really providing you with the correct information and are they doing it objectively?

Support Ron Paul on Nov. 5th

I have already donated to Rob Pauls campaign but I wanted to get the word out about this event that is being organized. While they may not raise a full 10 million dollars I have no doubt that it could be an excellent boost to Dr. Pauls campaign and to the ideals of the constitution…..

Please join us this November 5th for the largest one-day political donation event in history. Our goal is to bring together 100,000 Ron Paul supporters to donate $100 each, creating a one day donation total of $10,000,000!

www.thisnovember5th.com

There are currently 18,000 people signed up to thisnovember5th, and will likely be 20,000 by November 5th.
Add that to the 76,000 plus Ron Paul friends on Myspace and we have nearly 100,000 people pledging to donate $100, totaling $10,000,000 in one day. The largest one-day fundraising of any presidential candidate in history!

Do you realize the POWER and SIGNIFICANCE of this?

We’ll raise $10,000,000 but the publicity will be worth TEN TIMES that!

Friends, I can assure you that if we pull this off, if we raise ten million dollars in one day, it will blow the lid off. Godzilla henceforth would be in the debates. Do you think that’s worth a hundred bucks?

Donations are to be made
ONLY at the Official Ron Paul website
at www.RonPaul2008.com.

Sincerely,
Fellow Ron Paul Supporter

Ron Paul 2008!!!

Roland S. Martin, upcoming well spoken black leader

There are a few prominent black leaders that are often out spoken and on the front lines of many of today’s issues. One that I’ve begun to read and listen to a bit and am gaining a real respect for is Mr. Roland S. Martin.

His opinions, while not always shared by me, originate from what appears to be an articulate well educated and diverse experience base. I see Mr. Martin as an upcoming leader not only for the Black community but for educated moderate people in general. His latest contribution to CNN is about the upcoming Presidential election. I had recently asked my grandparents if they had been watching the debates and their response was “oh that’s a waste of time its way to far out and they all say the same stuff” however they are ALL ABOUT the show survivor.

When will people wake up and care? More accurately…. when will people care enough to wake up?

Read why Roland S. Martin goes stir crazy over a research that suggest the average person “spends five minutes a month — total — on the presidential race”.
