WOW! I didn’t realize as a “Christian” (that is still figuring out his beliefs) that I am suppose to want to “perfect” Jews or any other religions for that matter! That’s AMAZING! WOW have I been in the dark on that one. While we are at it why don’t we make all Hindus and Buddhist and Muslims Christian too!!! I mean wouldn’t it just be great if we were all the same? Lets all wear the same shirts too… and drink cool aid…. and not have any tolerance for other faiths…
I don’t think it becomes more arrogant their Mrs. Coulters statements… though I suppose most every religion would prefer if everyone just belong to one big old fat bloated group with no differences in opinion or beliefs…
It may not be right, but many religions seek to convert everyone else. I mean, after all, all religions do think they’re the only true one. That their beliefs are the only real ones. That’s part of the faith of really devout people. The problem is when people don’t respect the fact they everyone doesn’t have the same beliefs. But really, were you surprised to find out that most devout christians believe that theirs is the one true religion and that everyone should be Christian. I’m not saying I agree with that idea. But that is what many people who are devout in their faith believe.

Right, its what many people… but its not what ALL believe. There are many perspectives even with the “devout”. Did you read my other post about evangelical religions?

I despise Ann Coulter. I think she is close minded and ignorant.
What did you mean by Kinda Hot in your title? That SHE is kinda hot? Because I’ve seen her in real life a few months back. I can assure you that makeup and lighting attribute to her looks on tv. Real life? Not so good.

Of course there are other perspectives, there are no absolutes. And I didn’t say that there were. But despite people’s personal opinions, you can’t deny the fact that Christianity (along with other religions) teaches that theirs is the one true religion and that all other people should be preached to until they convert. So it shouldn’t be all that surprising when some people believe and express that opinion, sometimes in an offensive manner.
