That's really cool, the way some politicians turn to the internet not with rage and ignorance, but with interest and a clear idea of how to use it to their advantage.

Oh yes, that's what they're doing. But hey, that's cool in my book. It's what the internet is about, using it to your own advantage.

...and porn, of course. Mustn't forget the porn. Important part of the soul of the internet, for certain.

I'm not much of a myspace-fan. In fact, I pretty much despise myspace. Niggaspace.com is fine, since it's so incredibly hilarious, even though it appears to be a serious site. Pure golden awesomeness there!
Myspace seems to me more like a collection of stereotypes; you have the white trash kids, black ghetto toughguys, the yifftastic furries, wasted college Greek-life idiots, hard rock goth kids, emo-attention whores and 14 year old girls that seemingly get high on the color pink and fluffy bunnies...and horrible flashing gifs.
All accompanied by an approach to spelling and grammar that is best described as a game of "pin the tail on the donkey"
*shudder*

Of course, in between, there are intelligent people, whom I think would be better off buying a domain and writing their stuff outside a loser-community. They wouldn't get quite as many readers, perhaps, but at least they wouldn't be amongst myspacers.

I know, I'm horribly harsh and unkind here, but I really don't like myspace...or any site/network that is similar to it (msn spaces, livejournal, enjoydiary etc...
